not offensive at all - the $$ that is offered for MCC is nothing compared to the long term growth for the coal. The stuff is worth nothing if you cant put it on a boat - and NHC have that card to play. I'd be surprised if NHC dont raise their offer and MCC must be temped....
IMO the annual report, may just ruin the chances of this deal proceeding as NHC's cashed up status is going to keep MCC wanting more. It'd be nice to see the t/o happen and watch NHC continue to grow - however, short term i'd also be happy for some (more) juicy dividends from them.
