ANZ is hoovering up between 400k to 1million shares a day through an on-market buyback. This is reducing liquidity and forcing share price higher, overtaking even WBC.
While change of CEO and Chairman is welcome for NAB, there is always a "clearing of the decks" risk with new management plus risk of dividend being cut. On value basis nevertheless, NAB still looks like the better buy.
