"Thats one reason why I'm keen to see some forward (remodelled) assumptions on Ophir cashflow. If the oil price even stays where it is, Ophir could be a very nice earner and drive a rebuilding of Octanex."
Hi R
Has there ever been any projections on Ophir? I haven't seen any. Think that I raised the point earlier that we at least I have no idea as to what it is worth to OXX.
Certainly take your point that the timing oil price slump and reducing capex has done OXX no harm.
Hopefully we will all be surprised as to how profitable Ophir is for OXX
Also I have no idea what the options on Ophir may be worth, should Petronas take Ophir back.
Accept as you have indicated that it may be multiples of the current MC.
Least it is close enough now that it is coming into view over the horizon.
Feel that we have always been in the dark here. Suspect that we will not have any idea until we see cashflow.
I can only dream of Ascalon.
Guess that they can stay in the bottom drawer for a few more years. Least with cashflow on the horizon will provide some stability and as you say the opportunity to rebuild the company while waiting for that left field event.
