I would say that the KBL share price has been manipulated for more than a year by people who do not have KBL's best interests at heart. Very recently convertible notes have been issued based on a VWAP definition in the note agreement. So at market close the SP is clearly being manipulated down to the benefit of the noteholder resulting in massive dilution. This in turn knocks the SP. The shares issued from the convertible notes are dumped on the market, further depressing the SP.
This could be pure chance, or a longterm plan to get KBL's assets on the cheap..
My thought is that the motivation from the start is to get control of Mineral Hill and Sorby which were and are very valuable assets.
Stevie would say that he is not down-ramping; he is just pointing out facts to protect the innocent. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He might say that I am up-ramping; well I try to give a balanced assessment of the value of KBL and correct blatant errors in the posts.
Shareholder support for the board is eroded, and this support is needed for KBL to succeed.
However the convertible notes have been destructive to the SP; the most recent one more so. As gsmaree said, people are buying the dumped shares, but none of us shareholders are happy that our investments are decimated. The board could have handled the convertible notes sold to recyclers better and I am sure they know this. As they said at the turn of the year, KBL needs money.
