    I think that people who want to do some figures on Pearse North should go back and look at the March 2016 Quarterly report. There are some spectacular intersepts shown there. My guess is that KBL have not published an updated resource figure for Pearse North after this drilling, because of pressure of other activities. They know that it will be profitable and they will control the mine as they go down. They do not have to calculate the resource to the accuracy required for publication.
    I agree that they have plenty of profitable underground ore they could mine, particularly Lode A. It simply makes sense to continue on the open cut gold if they can. They are putting all their resources into that endeavour. They are confident they can mine Pearse North profitably in the short term and are encouraged to further exploration of the adjacent area so as to continue on open cut gold to avoid the disruption of a change to underground mining and to exploit the current high price of gold. It all makes sense to me. Deposits of the same type as Pearse and Pearse North mostly occur in clusters.
