Ever try and peg some dirt here? These guys have a bureaucracy that creates nightmares. You think you have used the correct local advisers/lawyers and filled in the correct applications-then they throw a whole new batch at you from both regional and federal authorities.
Every negotiation is completed at the train station as you are leaving. They say 4 days when they mean 400.
One other thing I noticed recently-the b@ggers are getting arrogant!!!. None of the saving face type approach-they were rude and arrogant-most surprising.
Hope they loose this characteristic ASAP. The Middle Kingdom is not the only kingdom.
As for working there-marginally better than Pakistan, not as good as India. Remember mines are not in major cities-they tend to be in the worst places possible!LOL
