Not true. Woolworths customer service is shite. When you go into a Woolworth's supermarket with 10 checkouts and only 1 open you understand where priority lies. It lies on their bottom dollar, which is fine. Run the business how ever you want, but don't expect customers to flock back based on your customer service. Self serve is fine if you only have a hand ful of items. But when you have a trolley full of groceries this can be more than frustrating. I personally prefer woolies product range and pricing over other rivals, and also supermarket layout. But refuse to shop there based purely on the fact that there is no-one working the checkout. I would rather pay a higher price for better customer service. Sure many would agree. By the way. Sold my WOW shares at a moderate loss because I could see where the company was headed, down. Consequently, prevented further loses. The introduction of further competition like Aldis will put more downward pressure on SP. All in my opinion
