RIO is still working the phones, received a call today.
Im holding for the moment, but will sell if there is no better offer.

There is still time for a counter bid, RIV is worth more than $16 a share imo. If there is an announcement tomorrow it will hopefully throw some light on best way forward. Wonder what the chances of RIO declaring the offer open are?

The only ones keen on this T/O seem to be the RIV board and RIO...for us smaller shareholders it feels a bit like being taken to the cleaners (relatively speaking).
