yep but with the advent of pacs and digital films, efficiency has increased substantially. Doctors could never have got through 150 exams per day 20 years ago, and the mix is shifting towards cross sectional work from plain film and fluoro with higher rebates attached obviously. I think radiology companies are more profitable now than ever.
