I've always pondered the same thing with regards to excess allocation. And if extras aren't allocated can they reverse part of a BPay? (sorry for the ignorance here, but I'm used to sending cheques - this is the first time I've used the BPay).

Applied for nearly 8k extra (as I was only entitled to 100-odd, being as my shares are a hangover from LST.)

I note from reading Stephen Mayne articles in the Age during the capital raisings last year he made a motza buy purchasing a $500 allotment and applying for more than his rights and generally being issued them...

Some companies have a plan for over-subscription, but i don't see one here, but as Caromb15 outlines above there will be plenty of holders who wont apply, so it may all even out in the end.
