Even the Old Testament prophets declared that he would come unto his own people and they would receive him not. Many have said all sorts of things about Christ, but I guess it gets to the point of whether we want to believe or not believe what Jesus declared about himself. Personally, I have always found a greater peace in life in his words; I am the way, the truth, and the life!
Just giving an alternative view, nothing adverse intended!
