THE man known in the taxi industry as ''Mr Ten Per Cent'' has come under fire from a NSW parliamentary committee for the hefty levy his company imposes on cab fares paid using credit cards and EFTPOS.
Reg Kermode, the executive chairman of Cabcharge, told a parliamentary inquiry yesterday he did not run a monopoly, despite his company being investigated by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission for alleged anti-competitive practices.
