It is easy to say who will win if you look at CAB's financials and where they have been trending since Uber arrived. This is fact, not theory.

If Uber failed, you would see a short term run up in price, but market would simply download the next app and drivers make the switch (many already use two ride share services).

Didi (China) is here, Ola, Meego, Muve... take your pick. Uber's profitability has no bearing what so ever.
