Apparently there is a rule on the ASX that a company needs 50% of the individual shareholders to vote in favour of a takeover for it to go through. If you're interested in the prospect of an independent Spookfish consider buying a small parcel of shares and voting "No" to the takeover.

75% of the votes cast on the resolution; and
