I held this for ages and sold out after this result.

I really like the company and it's broad, diversified businesses. It sometimes gets bracketed with mining servicing companies when that makes only a fraction of the business.

However, I've been concerned about the endless string of acquisitions.

Morningstar in their analysis make a very good point about the lack of transparency about the performance of acquisitions. We see in the acquisition announcements that it will be EPS positive but we never get them split out to see that it has turned out that way.

The reasons for the flat result seem reasonable on the face of it, but I'm now sufficiently nervous to get out. It'll probably go back to $8 now!
