HVN has been a sad ride for me buying at the peak for div yield and then seeing both dividend and SP tank.
Have hung in and now see some life in the share price.
I note that the recent short position peaked at 11% on 11th Sep’18 and had a closing share price of $3.43
The current short position is 9.55% but in reality with at least half the share register tied up with board members the real short position is about 19%
If the SP continues to rise we could see a short squeeze and no one hates, and I mean really hates shorters more than Gerry Harvey. He wants them to go to jail!!!!!!!!!
Don’t underestimate what Gerry may do to help this scenario along.
Perhaps there is an expectation of a special divvie because of Shorten’s policy to steal franking credits from modestly retired SMSF members. Gerry thumbing his nose at Shorten- I can see that.
