Gee who would have thought KGN would not perform as well as expected after Amazon came to Australia LOL
They aren't even in the same sector as far as I'm concerned and JBH are digesting the Good Guys who were being destroyed by HVN, they were never going to perform like expected that soon after the takeover, I'd say both of them under-performing is telling us that someone (I wonder who?) is exerting competitive pressure.
Good chance HVN is doing ok, we already know Amazon is massively underwhelming but is still pressuring KGN and JBH who compete much more strongly in the online space than HVN and this will continue to be the case IMO.
This will be split into parts at some point (HVN) but probably not until Gerry falls off his perch, that may be decades yet.
Katie needs to put him into retirement to stop buying dairy farms, mining accommodation companies and expanding into tiny markets like Ireland, all small ventures that don't put the company at any real risk but it's getting bloody frustrating as we could own many more sites if he stuck to what he has always been good at "Lure them in with a cheap TV and sell them a couch", then take that money and buy the site!
