The incentive is to maintain your shareholding in the company and provide it with the capital it needs to complete the acquisition, develop its distribution & sales network and get it through to probability sometime next year. Its interesting how short sighted some can be around capital raisings in general, micromanaging it down to the last minute and fraction of cent between the market price and issue price in an offer. If was eligible for it, I'd be participating in the SPP.
