There's not much downside to buying now - if the share price ticks up, that's a 100% profit (assuming you can sell). The major downside is the opportunity cost and the fact that once you're in, you can't really get out again - the shares aren't liquid; you can buy them, but there's bugger all buyers, so you can't offload them if you need the cash in a hurry.
So it's more likely a case of "it can't sink any further, it's worth a small gamble" than of "it's going to go up, and give us huge returns!"
Thirty million shares at these prices is only $30,000. Stuff all, really.
