Destra Corporation Limited (ASX: DES) released today its Appendix 4C
Commitments Report for the Quarter ending 30 September 2004, showing a
Net
Profit of AUD$0.128M; cash at bank position of AUD$1.073 and an EBITDA
profit of AUD$0.429M.
The unaudited financial reports for the three months ending September 30
2004, shows total sales to be AUD$2.26M, and a Net Profit of AUD$0.128M.
These results do not include the additional earnings generated by the
acquisition of Techex Communications on 6 October, 2004 by Destra.
Techex
generated over AUD$0.7m in profit in the 2004 FY.
The acquisition of Techex brings additional profitability to the
organisation which is on target to generate profit for this current
financial year. Both Destra and Techex were both listed in the 2004 BRW
Fast 100 with Techex achieving eleventh position.
Destra is a leading Internet and e-commerce enterprise focused on
providing consumer entertainment and Internet business solutions
servicing
the Internet hosting and digital media markets. OzHosting.com, a wholly
owned subsidiary of Destra, is Australia’s second largest virtual
hosting
service provider.
DestraMusic.com is Australia’s largest digital music provider
positioning
Destra to capitalise on the emerging online games and music market.
