I estimated that I would have around 1500 shares accepted in the buyback after tendering all my SMSF shares this week. In anticipation of this I bought 600 shares last week and depending on the actual acceptance of my tender on Monday I will look to buying back close to the same number before 9 January before BHP goes ex dividend. BHP had a good run up this week and will be looking to buyback around $32 close to what I think will be the buyback price.
