Yes we don't know how AMU would be placed if Eden didn't make the offer..prob not much difference in the SP ..
your'd think if Eden wanted to buy AMU at 35c why they don't still buy a good sized holding at these levels I'm sure they could get 10-20% of the shares sub 26c-27c in the current market place ....then once the AUD/USD is more favorable make an offer...well that would be the smart thing to do..
I know if someone rocked up to my house said they really really want to buy it and they would pay much more than the market value but first they needed me to stop working and help them sort out the details I'd be asking for a deposit if they couldn't I'd tell them to keep walking...
