Sorry RD, just some interesting trading as closing of the SPP came near. Even look at Friday after closing 13,000 shares for a value of $6,660.00 on only 3 trades for an 8% increase in SP. I’m just saying that sometimes low volume trading of this type can be used to falsely manipulate the SP. At the start of the week it was sitting pretty close to the SPP offer of .40 cents so why would anyone take up an allotment when it was approaching that on the market. Then wham, 40,000 shares traded and its back in the .50’s.
If you are alluding to them defaulting on the Bendigo plant option, I totally agree with you. If they have been this incompetent this field season, I don’t believe that they will be able to do enough to get it over the line. This proposed AC program is interesting as AC is used only to get through the top cover and stops at hard rock, weren’t they billing this as an undercover extension of Bendigo? Wait lets read some statements.
Let’s look at a 30th of June statement - the next stage of exploration is likely to involve angled reverse circulation (RC) or diamond drilling to test the extent of high grade gold mineralisation along these trends…..drilling will need to be carried out north of the diamond drill section to test the expected northerly plunge of the high grade zone
Let’s look at last week’s statement - results have been received from the recent trial Reverse Circulation (RC) and rotary mud/diamond drilling programme
And - Diamond drilling will recommence after Easter
Wow, we’ve had at least two rigs that we know off being there and is it right to say/assume that we’re now onto a third? So from June 30th last year to April we are still to test the “expected northerly plunge of the high grade zone”!!!!! Really not progress I’d be pinning the option to acquire a gold plant on. But I do love how they slipped in the word “trail” last week as to explain their performance.
We don’t even know the outcome of the SSP, so even stating we will be doing a 10,000m AC program (with undetermined aims) is a little questionable. As you said RD, it sounds like reconnaissance drilling. So that would raise the question that instead of drilling deep to find the “expected northerly plunge of the high grade zone”, we drill the top and release the numbers to the market and keep dragging along the shareholders??
