That would be insider trading and I doubt they will take the chance. Lose your job and go to jail! Think about it. Would you take the chance? I know I wouldn't. Not even for my family let alone my mates. It would ruin you financially and wreck your entire family. It isn't the 70's anymore!! Look at Steve Vizard. He bought a few shares, and I mean a few, in Telstra when he was a director. He had inside info and made a few hundred dollars out of the trade- He was crucified. Imagine the consequences to a mere worker on an oil field! He wouldn't even have the ability to pay his legals costs without selling his house!!!
