Pardon me for being a novice numpty but I often look at the buy/sell numbers and then look at the visible lines ( first ten price points ) and compare the numbers.
Overall, the sells are 375k ( 60 orders )and the buys 240k (53 orders ), but if I look at the first 10 lines, theres maybe 50-60k on the sell side and the first 2 lines on the buy side would about cover that ie, the sell side is very thin when compared to the buy side.
To my mind, that seems to indicate that the -ve price movement isn't supported by the selling orders as they appear on screen.
Any of the sages care to enlighten me as to their perception of the 'market' as it appears ?
