Have a look at the the last announcement and the intercepts that finished in mineralisation;
FKCR_162 33m @ 6.72g/t Au from 217m to EOH FKCR_159 59m @ 4.86g/t Au from 152m to EOH FKCR_165 51m @ 3.42g/t Au from 174m to EOH FKCR_168 55m @ 2.54g/t Au from 163m 30m @ 5.79g/t Au from 222m to EOH
Now assuming that there isnt down hole smearing from wet RC samples we are seeing some very impressive widths and grades at depth. The question is how far does this mineralisation extend and is the surface mineralisation just the tip of the iceberg and is the real value of Fekola at depth? The diamond drilling planned after the wet season will be very interesting to eliminate sample bias and to test further depth extension of the mineralisation.
The Loulo mine 11.5mil oz's @4.4g/t some 60km North on the same shear zone as PIR has both a pit and underground operation. Its is early days for Fekola but perhaps we will see a similar style of deposit as that at Loulo, now wouldnt that be nice.
Cheers
