if you want to get a tax deduction for june 30 buy now sell near june 30 for a capital write off ..when you sell them for a loss..you can write off your capital losses on ALL against all the short profits you will make on the SPI..HVN WES...RIO..BHP etc etc..ask duidope he would have a good accountant
