Yes, 45c was the level MD and other knowledgeable parties were prepared to pay. Since then the company has grown due to the new Dixons business acquisition and is worth more. My belief is that the major and remaining shareholders will benefit from the buyback, and will be very happy that the current price is down ,setting a lower potential base for tendered sales. I couldnt say that the price is encouraged down, could I.
I have been buying a few at these prices in anticipation that the shareholders continue to be longtermers, meaning that the tender price will be 45c plus, and getting 10% of shareholders selling may not even happen.. If I''m right, its an immediate 50%+ gain, and longer term even more if held instead of tendered sale.
I'm tendering at 49c, but happy to hold if not bought at that price.
