Developments like these are going to keep coming up in order for Melbourne to go ahead. When they do, the Developers will be looking for PASS storage facilities in order to do the work, and NAGs is the only known place that can take the volumes that will be created and with the best environmental outcome.
So there is no way "approval" won't be given - either now or sometime in the future. Worse case scenario, a delay (less than 6 months) but not a rejection, IMO. But I can't see it being rejected first time round.
If NAGs did nothing, it wouldn't be long before the authorities came to NAGs asking them to become a taker of PASS. Why, because there are now enough people in the industry that know about NAGs ability to solve the problem.
Those pits will be filled in the next 6-8 years IMO & that means big $s for NAGs & shareholders.
