Then there is Cell Aquaculture (CAQ)- I don't know much about them, but there is red ink everywhere. They lost 1.7 cps in the year to Dec 2011. They had an operating loss of $1.6M for 2011/12 and Cash in Bank at the end of that period of $24,000. Yes, that's 24K. price = 2.1 cps.
Tassel (TGR)is much more healthy. They are profitable, but their latest report tells us that they are no longer able to sell product (Tasmanian Salmon) overseas because of the world glut of salmon and the high $Aus. They hope to keep increasing sales in the local market.
And CO2 sees outstanding opportunity in this sector!!??
Re my previous post mf - I meant to say aquaculture and CO2 TAKEOVER of WRAL (not CO2 capital raising). I did a bit of research on the takeover documents and what a great deal that is - for WRAL shareholders. (Just by coincidence, CO2 and WRAL have some common directors and the major shareholders or WRAL are CO2 directors.) For me this is a big hit to the credibility of CO2's directors.
And to say that CO2's forestry experience places them well to develop an aquaculture business? That would mean that all what farmers are well placed to run a fishing fleet. Its all primary production, after all.
Don't get me started.
