Once its leached it will be metal in solution, with many other types of metals. The ones you want are Nickel, Cobalt and Scandium, all require further refinement.

ScSx - scandium Solvent extraction, then to Scandium Precipitation to get your final Scandium oxide.

Iron needs to be removed from the solution,

Then it needs to go through MSP mixed sulphide precipitation.

Then POX - pressure oxidation Leach

Then final SX solvent extraction

Then steam is added and Cobalt and Nickel Sulphate goes through a Crystalization process.

Then you crush and grind it to final powder. CoS04 and NiSO4

Little bit more complex then just leaching it out of tanks into a solution and selling it on as a concentrate for further refinement, few places already do that and China gets a lot of concentrate to further refine.
