Ore was previously mined and then transported on a dedicated rail line to the Yabulu refinery. Together with the smaller Brolga mine, production from the area over the operational period amounted to 15,000 tonnes of cobalt and 327,000 tonnes of nickel.”
What BB, of starbucks fame, should really confess is that mining Greenvale (sconi) was not as profitable as importing higher grade New Caledonian Ore to Yabulu and hence Greenvale (Sconi) lay dormant for decades. But really thats not surprising when u compare 0.67% to 1.7% and 0.10% to 0.15%
