I can - sort-of - understand what you're saying Jacko (I too would like to thank you for your informative post's) so I would like to add my bit... a layman's spin, so-to-say.
If these so-called pro's want to keep the price where it is so as to hurt the spec buyer's, then what would happen (say) if I was to win tomorrow's $21m Lotto on my own and wanted to continue to have a punt in the market. How would it go if I bought-up all the stock, up to a price of say $1.00. (Just supposing now). and I decided to hang on to it for future divies etc, you know, like a "normal" investor. Would that be a) a safe bet; b) a stupid idea, as the pro's will out-smart me and cut me off at the pass. or c) would I just become one of the top 20 in the most expensive way possible through those high brokerage fee's or d) would the pro's keep up and stay interested if I went at it slowly?

First I have to win Lotto! hahahahaha!!!
