    Armchair solutions :
    Seriously it is an issue and one that I think may have been flagged by Pioupiou back in early 2018 or late 2017 .
    The government is fast tracking the Designated Area Migration Agreement for Goldfields and the Pilbara and I imagine there will be hundreds eager to apply for residency under that initiative?

    https://www.interstaff.com.au/migration-agreements/

    And I noticed NRW Facebook recently posted job vacancies :
    upload_2019-2-15_19-56-24.jpeg
    Here’s the live link which shows NRW is currently seeking multiple new hands across 14 different categories of jobs in the Pilbara.

    (sotto voce:This is like Christmas - there MUST be more to come, but what?)

    -NRW has excellent ratings as an employer, as frequent posts here remind.
    Also Western Australia still offers muktiple advantages over the Eastern States apart from higher quality of life, more ecomical houses and proximity to Bali so Eastern States recruitment drives may be effective ?
    ..especially if the key content of story from today’s Australian Mining Is more widely disseminated ....
    It says only 23% of mining jobs will be lost after the toll out of technological advances;
    https://www.australianmining.com.au/news/three-quarters-of-mining-jobs-to-change-within-five-years/
    .... “Most jobs (77 per cent) will be enhanced or redesigned within the next five years.
    “Innovation, people and skills combined with technological advances will deliver a more globally competitive minerals sector that delivers fulfilling careers in highly paid, highly-skilled jobs,” MCA chief executive Tania Constable said...”

    (The study FWIW was commissioned by the Minerals Council so may be wearing rose coloured glasses?)

    NRW, based on it’s history p, will get good people, make them welcome and bring out their best !
