Could someone explain the significance of very small bids. For example, if one assumes there are a few buyers of 1,000 shares or more at $2.04, then there must be many bidding for 2-digit and 1-digit parcels at $2,04. Why would they bother?
............ BUY ......... ...... ..... SELL ................
37 .... 5,088 .. $2.04 ..... $2.05 .... 4,925 .... 6
12 .... 6,912 .. $2.03 ..... $2.06 .. 32,513 .. 13
..7 .... 5,600 .. $2.02 ..... $2.07 .. 26,326 .... 5
..6 .. 31,276 .. $2.01 ..... $2.08 .. 98,660 .... 6
To a degree, MND, shares a common customer base with NWH, and we know from media articles that its top management were expecting a slice of the current iron-ore projects. MND's SP is now above $16. Some minutes before 13:00 today the price was $16.46. Its buy-sell action then was: Buy $16.440, sell $16.460, last sale $16.460, movement +27c. Its PER, according to Morningstar, was 22.61, which is higher than the Sector PER of 16.43, and NWH's PER of 10.98. This bodes well for NWH, IMO.
