Well I don’t think NRW is going to be doing the nine bridges that poor old Omega was unable to complete on NorthLink 2
It seems backpackers are doing the work now

“After Omega was terminated, GNC replaced it with another subcontractor to be paid an hourly rate.
When asked how Main Roads justified paying a replacement subcontractor its actual costs, when the original subcontractors was not being paid for its unexpected costs, Main Roads said it did this to ensure the project was “completed in a timely manner”.

And over at Monadelphus someone (@Killswitch )was saying workers there (somewhere) are so upset at bad conditions and a paltry 2% pay rise there may be industrial action and half might leave .
