Haha Parma .... it was non maliciously meant ...and I did think it was funny at the time - a harmless (and very obvious I had thought) play within a world where a lost cat had to involve mention of Chinese restaurants and people -sometimes those in terrible duress- were always asked if that day was a special anniversary of any kind.
If I had more wit I would have headed out with the photographer and come back to tell the story Granny Smith had moved on .....leaving only a moth eaten cardigan and a few apple pips .
My life might have taken quite a different course .
