TODAY’S NEWS :
-Today’s close was $1.09 with ASX volume of 1,143,354 -up 2.45%
Chi X was volume of 737,000 approx but I don’t know if that is up or down on previous days .
It was down on the ASX - lowest since 443,099 trades 13 market days ago -the day before our results.
-Other things you could look up yourself include no updates to NRW Facebook since the last shared post... they are still hiring .
Indeed 35 jobs are advertised on Seek for NRW and 13 for Golding Contractors
https://www.seek.com.au/NRW-jobs
https://www.seek.com.au/Golding-contractors-jobs
-According to Saragian’s postcard of today on Charts thread:
.....well as I sensed ( I do indeed ‘sense you all’ ) he hankered after an image to suit his excellent self I decided to Google ‘Cleo Centrefolds ‘ ....and well to be honest I got a bit distracted .... but as I recall there are two standards of deviant lines in play at the moment.
The important message is ; technically there is a prediction the price will rise .
Which seems timely given the company’s intimations of expansion and new contracts .
Cheers
LATE NEWS
heman I mean human interest story in the quirky Curragh vicinity :
Here’s a link to news this week which highlights Queensland’s quirky reputation and also reminds there is coal ‘in spades’ in that state.
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-09-10/world-champion-coal-shoveller-russell-lane/10214266
According to the story, the World Championship Coal Shovelling Championship is being held in Moura in November and Mr Russell Lane, is digging in to take first place.
Russell lives in nearby Blackwater which is just 13 km down the road from one of ‘our’ mines; Curragh.https://www.australianmining.com.au...finalise-terms-420m-baralaba-north-coal-mine/
(A brief history of this mine also here: https://shiftminer.com/news_item/first-coal-2094)
I was unable to establish if Russell works at the Curragh mine but I did find a story on his colleague, Jim Parsons , also of Moura, who won the championship previously for many consecutive years.
Golding Truck might well look a little frail and insignificant facing up to that mountain of coal but imagine if it was Russell or Jim standing there .
I am sure , if they had been, guns would be blazing and they would be bossin’ it !
In 2012 Jim “....and shovelling partner Barry Pamenter won this year's doubles in a whole 21.15 seconds - that's half a tonne, or 508kg, of coal shovelled in well under half a minute.”
