The motto of the Wall Street Journal used to be “The truth in its proper use."
Dow crusaded for honesty in financial reporting and whilst, no doubt, he would have thought highly of well managed civil infrastructure companies he didn’t think unworldly people should own mining securities (I may have to add #unworldly to my list )
