..objectively passes on a UBS comment. That bank, (unlike Morningstar over at Commsec ‘peer analysis’ ) has revised its opinion based on NRW’s company update and also admitted it previously underestimated by at least $1.7 million.
Pioupiou to me - currently concerned with toxic misinformation overall - the UBS rerate seems harmless and even correct except for the hedging at the end which I think says UBS feels NRW might not earn as much as it thinks in relation to mining because it may not use its equipment and may have underestimated its labour costs )
But when you say you take the UBS data with a pinch of salt and then cite madamswer’s comments is that simply to illustrate parlous nature of many reports or what ?
Speaking as a member of general public who do I believe ?
These days that throw away line ‘DYOR’ is such a cop out when sources of research are two-faced with hidden agendas!

Will there be an impact from changed UBS view on the NWH stock code?
madamswer is, to me, both an intellectual sabretooth and a genuine guru, widely followed as you say, due to intelligent, precise and sane analysis of factors I would never have before considered, but which make perfect sense (disclosure : I purchased Monadelphus shares a few years back based on @madamswer remarking it’s an accounting strategy to bundle losses at various times and the impact on that year’s results may have little bearing on a company’s future performance ...or something along those lines..... the shares are still well in profit thank you kindly )
But that second post closes with the comment;
“[When this kind of dumb money starts coming on board, it instinctively makes me think it is almost time to start selling.]”
And I note that it wasn’t so recent ; posted early February when MND was $18.74 vs today’s price of $14.91 . The price not only dropped immediately but fell to a low of $13.57 in June .

Pioupiou your rational and considered views are really important to a lot of us here.
