Am thinking the same thing - if a takeover announcement comes with a trading halt (total speculation), there will be a shorts bloodbath. This is a hope and not an assertion.

If I did not already have a position, I would buy some (speculative), but this stock has done my head in. It is the only dog in my portfolio. I am up a tiny bit (was up a lot in the past), but it has come at expensive opportunity cost and I have no clue as to what management is doing - I really bought the abattoir story (construction) and thought it was a good idea - showed me how little I understand agri stocks and their capital intensity. I was mesmerised by the whole China/beef angle and did not use my usual detached approach.
