I am not so experienced in this trading business so I do not really understand what is going on with this morning's trading in AAC.
In relation to China trade, my Chinese colleagues cannot believe the low production costs of our beef for the quality and maybe that is why there is 50 % more Australian Beefl sold in China compared to what Australia actually exports to China. That is, China is the likely sourse of any interest in takeover but that will have to get through our approval system as an Agricultural entity.
Anyone who exports anything to China must understand that all imports and all exports to and from China are tools to be used by Beijing for political relations purposes.
