Again you may be right. I just think that finding a path which offers better returns for less cash and or effort is worth it.
If the box beef market is that path then the whole operation could be reviewed and and split into two businesses to allow for competition to determine which is the better business down the track. Right now this needs to be held together to give the strategy a chance to succeed.
The argument you make is a standard response in Australia to the idea of locally value adding as apposed to sending our resources overseas for them to sell it back to us.
