More nimble players will carve them up..they are like the titanic..and a bloated one at that ( especially in the high value add meat end)...

I've said it before, And I've even done some rough numbers to prove it..they would be better off sticking to raising calves on big stations..with some finishing occurring on good blocks...perhaps breed wyagy.

Margins in feedlotting are not there for this blunderbus , and the high end beef area is only making modest returns with high expenses..they could well be making it look better by buying their cattle for that division at a slightly below market price from the stations and feedlots also.
