U seem to know a bit about cattle..there is a American website called agcenter where they give excellent cattle market reports.
Down towards bottom each week or so they give feedlot operators feeder buy in feed costs and selling prices.
I think a 630 kg live weight steer sells for about 1700 u.s.d....ours would be 1600 odd in our currency... Can u tell me how they can be giving us so much competition in our Asian markets at present as reported in Rural Press, even allowing $300 oz cheaper processing?
We also have a tariff advantage into KOREA, and despite a deal last night I think Ag was excluded...we also have a freight advantage also I believe.
