Ha, good points raised. Well what the heck, whilst waiting for funding we might as well dive a little deeper, hopefully we wont come across the wreck of the good ship GSL whilst down there.
On the lack of Gov't support, I find it strange that at the same time we seem to have quite willingly blown a viable planet as a species we have simultaneously sown the seeds for seemingly unstoppable AI and robotics that will soon have the capability to both design and manufacture themselves. They need no air to breath, no water, temperate climate nor food.
Having willingly diddled ours species out of a liveable planet in our rush to create this high technology, as evidenced by Co2 just jumping from record 400 ppm less than 2 years ago to 410 ppm now. Wow. That is a truly massive increase that indicates the clear transition from linear greenhouse gas release and it inevitable effects to exponential. Batten down the hatches. For now the thermal balance of the planet has been permanently pushed over its tipping point, for enough reflective ice has already gone to trigger continuous heat absorption and neither man nor the earths self regulatory systems possess a mechanism to turn it down. Stephen Hawking foresaw these threats, predicting the rise of both AI and the planet could turn as hot as Venus but he failed to mention how quickly it could all happen.
Our leaders worldwide fail to acknowledge the greatest crisis to ever confront humanity let alone take real action. They neither mention it nor allocate serious funds to combat it, one can surmise they are mere pied pipers duped by computer generated alogarithms generating polls and fake news fooling them into leading us all over the climatic cliff. It is all happening so easily and without a fight that one could wonder whether it is part of the cosmic natural order of things.
If nothing else I hope I have succeeded in relieving your anxiety on the lack of news on the capital raising!
