The Communications Minister has today told Sky News that "his government will hold firm against splitting up its media law changes" after One Nation, Labor and the Greens indicated they could oppose changes including the two out of three rule.

He also said that the reform package "needs to go through as a whole. I'm working to secure the package as a whole and it's going forward as a whole. One of the reasons we have the support of the entire media industry is partly because of the process that we have gone through. Not everyone gets everything they want but everyone gets something."

It'll be interesting to see what his next move will be. Without at a minimum, the support of One Nation I can't see what choice he has but to break up the Bill. Lets hope he's got something up his sleeve.
