It seemed promising or the company claimed and... we all know how that turned out. They're reaching out for other indications due to the doubts surrounding it's effectiveness in OA and most probably a device to overexaggerate the value of what is an obsolete drug to protect the director's interests for now. This won't easily those with pharmaceutical knowledge, however.

In relation to OA, as aforementioned PPS would have to afford better, more like substantially better, outcomes than the traditional therapies for it to even be adopted by physicians. Without that factor, PPS wouldn't stand a chance against that natural resistance to convention, especially when it comes to the immigrant physicians, who have that natural tendency to stick like glue to traditional practice.
