I used to use that phrase all the time when I lived in the "Sarf' of Engerland" in the 1960s. Now that I live in Australia (or "Horse Trailer" as the Queen pronounces it..................lol), I don't use the phrase so much. Yes and "Del Boy" used it a lot.
