I think it fair for brokers to value only the value of the current production with little success one . Roc needs to show this asset can deliver increases in production . When they show increased production , they valuations will increase . I think it's reasonable to risk the project now .
Before Beibu commenced production most brokers risked it by 50% which resulted in valuations for roc in the 30s and 40s .
I think the positive about this opportunity is that success will enhance reputation and revenue both of which will provide greater opportunities in the future . Also as someone pointed out the other day , its rare you get to invest in a appraisal and development project and know irrespective of the outcome those funds will come back from the existing and future revenue stream
